Hiland's Ryan Zerger racked up a team-leading 16 points in a 71-42 victory over Garaway in Inter-Valley Conference action Jan. 23.

Zerger leads Hiland boys basketball past Garaway

Hiland boys basketball picked up a 71-42 victory over Garaway in Inter-Valley Conference action Jan. 23.

Ryan Zerger (16 points), Henry Schlabach (13), Caleb Mishler (11), Alex Miller (nine) and Ashton Schrock (nine) led the Hawks.

Girls basketball

Hiland rolled to a 47-18 win over Sandy Valley in an IVC clash Jan. 24.

Macy Mullet (17 points, five assists, five rebounds, seven steals), Perryn Mishler (15 points, five steals, three assists), Payton Yoder (nine points, five rebounds) and Tori Weaver (five rebounds) led the Hawks.

Tusky Valley picked up a 47-30 win over Hiland in IVC action Jan. 22.
