The West Holmes girls basketball team picked up a 44-30 victory over Lexington in an Ohio Cardinal Conference clash Jan. 24.
Briar Cline (12 points, seven rebounds, four steals), Mati Fair (11 points, six steals, five rebounds), Zalina Proper (seven points, six steals, four rebounds), Cara McMillen (eight rebounds) and Lilli Brown (four rebounds) paced WH.
West Holmes eked out a 45-42 win over Wooster in an OCC battle Jan. 21.
Proper (14 points, four steals, three assists), McMillen (10 points, seven rebounds), Cline (nine points, eight rebounds, three steals) and Fair (five rebounds) led the Knights.
Girls bowling
West Holmes rolled to a 1,838-1,114 win over New Philadelphia in OCC play Jan. 21.

Junior varsity girls basketball
Wooster defeated West Holmes 29-25 on Jan. 21.
Emma McDonnell (six points, six rebounds, three steals), Chelsie Cooper (four steals), Jocelyn Olney (seven rebounds, three steals) and Brinley Malachin (10 steals, three assists) paced the Knights.
Junior varsity boys basketball
Mansfield Senior beat West Holmes 58-29 on Jan. 23.
Hudson Flanders (11 points) and Quincy Camacho (seven) paced WH.
Freshman girls basketball
Marion Harding beat West Holmes 45-25 on Jan. 21.
