Faith Bible Church will host its 2026 Mission Conference April 10-12, featuring Michael and Joanne Hope, international workers serving in Ukraine.

The Hopes began their international worker career in Russia before moving to Ukraine, where they have served for the past three terms. They work with the new Ukrainian national church to support its development and growth, which has expanded from nine churches when the war began to 27 today. They also assist with developing churches in the Kyiv region, where one church existed when the war began and eight exist today, not counting a new church plant that has begun.

In addition to church development, the couple oversees a nationwide humanitarian aid program run by Alliance agencies aXcess and CAMA. The program has helped tens of thousands of people during the three years of the war.

Conference events will begin Friday, April 10 with a 6:30 p.m. gathering at Faith Bible Church, 7384 County Road 623, Millersburg, titled Getting To Know the Hopes. The evening will introduce the couple and provide an opportunity to learn about their work in Ukraine. Refreshments will be served, and attendees are invited to bring a snack to share.

On Saturday, April 11, a ladies breakfast will be held at 9 a.m. at Jitters, 1545 S. Washington St., Millersburg. A men’s breakfast also will take place at 9 a.m. at Keim in Charm, 4465 state Route 557, Millersburg.

That evening at 6:30 p.m., Faith Bible Church will host a second session focused on learning more about the work in Ukraine and a Q-and-A time. Various flavors of potato chips will be available for attendees to sample and rate because the Hopes told Faith Bible Church Ukrainians enjoy unusual potato chip flavors.

On Sunday, April 12, the Hopes will share during the 9 a.m. adult Sunday school hour. A parade of flags will begin at 10:15 a.m., followed by the couple speaking during the worship service. Attendees are invited to stay for a carry-in lunch.

A love offering will be collected for the Hopes during the conference. Donations may be designated “Hope - Love Offering.”
