42nd annual Engineering Expo at KSU
In celebration of National Engineers Week, Kent State Tuscarawas will hold the 42nd annual Engineering Technology Opportunity Expo Wednesday, Feb. 19 from 5-7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. The expo is free to attend.
Participating companies will have representatives from engineering, management, personnel and human resources available to address questions regarding job availability, skill requirements, expected salaries and career opportunities in engineering. They also will have displays featuring information on various products they manufacture.
Kent State Tuscarawas will have resource experts available to discuss the academic preparation needed for jobs in various fields of engineering technology.
Area high schools will participate in the Tuscarawas County Bridge Building Competition, sponsored by the Kent State Tuscarawas Engineering Technology Department. The testing and judging of submitted bridges will take place during the expo. First place and second place winners will be given the opportunity to compete in the International Bridge Building Contest.
