West, Watson advance in Elks Hoop Shoot

Local champions head to Ohio state finals in Newark on Feb. 21.

The Elks Southeast District Hoop Shoot was held in Marietta on Feb. 1. Two participants who advanced from the local level won their respective age groups and will now compete in the Ohio Elks State Hoop Shoot on Saturday, Feb. 21 in Newark. For the 12/13 year old boys, Alden West hit 23 of 25 shots and for the 12/13 year old girls, Cadence Watson hit 23 of 25 shots.
