Mount Vernon Nazarene University announces a public meeting as part of the accreditation review process for its proposed Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology distance education program. The proposed program is currently an Applicant for Candidacy by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
The CAA requires programs undergoing accreditation review to provide an opportunity for public comment. This meeting invites students, faculty, clinical educators, alumni, community partners, and members of the public to share feedback related to the proposed program. All feedback must relate to the program’s adherence to CAA accreditation standards.
The meeting will be Feb. 10, from 5-5:30 p.m. at Hunter Hall, Room 111, 221 S. Main St., Mount Vernon.
Individuals may offer comments in person during the meeting. Written comments may also be submitted directly to the CAA prior to the site visit. All feedback must relate to the program’s adherence to CAA accreditation standards.
