The Social Justice and Advocacy Ministry of the Triumphant Church, under the World Wide Fellowship of Independent Christian Churches, is collaborating with the NAACP’s Wooster/Orrville branch and the Trinity United Church of Christ in Wooster to collect water to transport to East Palestine due to the shortage of supply of drinking water.

The East Palestine water drive will be held June 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wooster Walmart, 3883 Burbank Road.

The East Palestine citizens experienced a chemical disaster on Feb. 3 due to a train wreck. Donations can be made in the form of monetary funds, donated bottled water and/or help with transporting. All volunteers inclined to help with transportation and/or unloading are needed. Call Archbishop Dr. Everett Caldwell at 330-356-1177 or 330-546-5701.
