UW launches its 2023 fundraising campaign

United Way of Wayne and Holmes announced the launch of its 2023 fundraising campaign, aimed at addressing issues in the community. Since 1957 United Way of Wayne and Holmes has been a support for individuals and families facing housing instability, hunger and hopelessness.
This year the campaign seeks to raise $1.65 million to continue its mission of helping people measurably improve their lives.
The campaign theme, “Just Love,” underscores the power of people uniting in love. Support provides resources and opportunities, and one gift helps thousands in the community.
By partnering with local programs and organizations, donations are leveraged to maximize their impact. This year the campaign supports 20 local programs and partners including Salvation Army Wooster Corps, Darb Snyder Senior Center, National Alliance on Mental Illness and Holmes Center for the Arts, to name a few.
These organizations work to address various aspects of the community’s needs, from shelter and sustenance to mental health support and cultural enrichment.
Katie Koglman, CEO of United Way of Wayne and Holmes, expressed her enthusiasm for the campaign launch.
“Our 2023 fundraising campaign is a testament to the strength and compassion of our community,” Koglman said. “For over six decades, we have come together to support one another and create lasting change. We invite everyone to join us in this meaningful endeavor and be part of the positive movement forward that we can achieve together.”
