Graphic Publications Inc., publisher of the Bargain Hunter and the Wooster Weekly News, is pleased to announce that it has been approved as an outlet for the City of Dover’s public notice advertising following a vote by the Dover City Council.“The action by city council members Monday evening gives the administration the leeway to place legal advertisements in both the Times-Reporter and the Bargain Hunter. ...Both publications give us a good avenue to reach the people we need to reach, and having a choice will add another tool to our means of notifying the public on important city business,” said Dover Mayor Richard Homrighausen.Recent changes in Ohio law allow weekly newspapers to be included in the category “newspapers of general circulation” and thus to be eligible for the publication of public notices.Michael Mast, president of GPI, said, “We are delighted to have this opportunity to compete for the City of Dover’s legal advertising business.”
