Trick or treat events planned
Halloween trick or treat night in New Philadelphia will be Saturday, Oct. 28 from 6-8 p.m. Zoar Village’s trick-or-treat festivities are planned for Sunday, Oct. 29 from 2-4 p.m. First National Bank of Dennison, 105 Grant St., Dennison, will have its annual trunk or treat Thursday, Oct. 26 from 6-7:30 p.m. Strasburg-Franklin Local Schools, 140 N. Bodmer, Strasburg, will have trunk or treat Oct. 19 at 6 p.m.
On Saturday, Oct. 28 the following trick-or-treats will take place: Baltic from 6-8 p.m., Beach City from 5-7:30 p.m., Dover from 5-7 p.m., Gnadenhutten from 5-7:30 p.m., Mineral City from 5-7 p.m., New Philadelphia from 6-8 p.m. and Uhrichsville from 6-8 p.m.
Tusky Valley Elementary School will have a trick-or-treat event Monday, Oct. 30 from 5-7 p.m. All district families are invited. Dress up in school-appropriate costumes and do trick-or-treating around the building while participating in various activities. There will be hot dogs, chips and cookies provided.
On Tuesday, Oct. 31, the following trick or treats will take place: Dennison from 5:30-7 p.m., Magnolia from 6-7 p.m. (7:15 p.m. Lions Club bonfire and costume contest at Village Park), Sherrodsville from 6-7:30 p.m., Strasburg from 6-7:30 p.m.,Tuscarawas from 5:30-7 p.m., Tusky Library from 5:30-7 p.m. during Tusky’s trick or treat for some special treats.
