Save and Serve Thrift Shop raised more than $4,500 for Love INC of Greater Holmes County during a benefit day held last month.

During the July 29 event, 100% of Save and Serve sales were donated to support Love INC’s mission of mobilizing local churches to serve their neighbors in need.

The donation is part of Save and Serve’s ongoing initiative to improve and support the local community. Love INC was chosen as a beneficiary as a result of the ways it works to transform the lives of individuals and families throughout Holmes County.

“Neighbors lending a hand to one another is an important part of our local culture,” said Eric Raber, Save and Serve general manager. “Through the support of our shoppers, donors and volunteers, we’re glad to be able to give back to our community and support organizations like Love INC.”

Save and Serve is a nonprofit thrift store in Holmes County that supports the local and global relief, development and peace projects of the Mennonite Central Committee.
