Pet Preparedness Fair June 12 at Millersburg dog park

The Holmes County General Health District is partnering with the Holmes County Humane Society and the Holmes County Dog Warden/Animal Shelter for a local Pet Preparedness Fair on June 12 that will include activities for pets and kids.

The Pet Preparedness Fair will be held at Pampered Paws Dog Park, 3102 Glen Drive, Millersburg, from 1-6 p.m. Registration will require at least one cash donation or one item to donate to the animal shelter/humane society, as will the raffle and the pet photo shoot.

Attendees will learn how to make a pet-preparedness kit and will learn about pet safety during a disaster. This event will include a pet photo shoot, kids craft station, puppuccino/kittuccino station, raffle, humane society adoption/play station and an animal shelter adoption/play station. Registration fees and donations will go directly to the humane society and animal shelter.
