Pathways of Hope luminaria event is Oct. 22

Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare invites the community to its Pathways of HopeSM luminaria event on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 6 p.m. The event will be held behind the Gault Impatient Pavilion on the campus of Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Road, Wooster.
Luminarias with the names of loved ones or special people being honored and remembered will be lit, glowing at dusk around the pond. This event is open to everyone in the community, regardless of whether they have had a loved one in the care of Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.
“A brief program with music and readings will be part of the evening that allows friends and families to gather,” said Katherine Ritchie, development director at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare. “The support of events like this help make it possible to offer the highest quality hospice and bereavement services to our communities.”
Luminarias cost $15 each, and memory signs are $30 each. At the conclusion of the event, luminarias and signs can be taken home. Net proceeds from this event support patient care and bereavement services at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.
In-person registration is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare’s main building located at 1900 Akron Road in Wooster. To register online, visit www.OhiosHospice.org/OHLCLuminaria23.
