Orrville Library How-To Festival Oct. 14

Orrville Public Library’s How-To Festival is a free event that will take place Saturday, Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Stations will showcase the proper disposal of medications with Aultman Hospital, provide an introduction to Appalachian Mountain dulcimers with the Wayne County Mountain Dulcimers, demonstrate leaf printing with Kristin Lorson, provide pottery wheel demonstrations with Terry Shue, demonstrate watercolor painting with Cassi Zook and more.
Kids who stop by the children’s department will be able to use the library’s craft supplies to free-build whatever they imagine, adding to what another child has created. The Orrville Area YMCA will offer a toilet paper roll pumpkin activity. Stop by the Memory Lab to learn how to use the equipment to digitize your items — for example, 8mm tape to DVD.
No registration is needed for this free event.

The program will be held in Orrville Public Library’s lower-level meeting room on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 5:30 p.m.
