Next Orrville library Book Buzz happens Aug. 1

Did you discover a new book or series you think everyone should read? Hop onto Orrville Public Library’s Facebook and participate in Book Buzz on Tuesday, Aug. 1 at 8 p.m. Participants share information about the books they have been reading. This free event is hosted by library staff and held monthly. No registration is necessary.

Children’s Crafternoon

Kids in third grade through sixth grade will create a sunflower collage at Orrville Public Library’s Crafternoon on Friday, Aug. 4 at 4 p.m. The library will provide the supplies for this free activity. Registration is underway and can be completed by clicking the event on the website calendar at www.orrville.lib.oh.us or calling the children’s department at 330-683-1065.

Young Writer’s Workshop

Those in sixth grade through 12th grade are invited to Orrville Public Library with local author Kathi Baron for Young Writer’s Workshop. This free event will be Thursday, Aug. 10 from 3:30-5 p.m. No registration is necessary.

Bug Walk

Registration has begun for Orrville Public Library’s final summer Bug Walk on Friday, Aug. 11 at 10 a.m. at the StoryWalk Trail. This month the group will focus on termites. Registration can be completed on the website calendar or by calling the children’s department.
