Lifeline benefit event Sept. 6 at Baltic Park

Lifeline will hold a benefit for two families on Sept. 6 at Baltic Park in Baltic. The event will include a raffle, a kids raffle, an auctioneer contest, a volleyball tournament and lots of food.
The auctioneer contest will begin at 6:30 p.m. with contestants wanted while the volleyball tournament will begin at 6 p.m. with brackets for men’s and women’s teams.
Dinners will be served starting at 4:30 p.m. with carryout available and will include pork over fries, burgers, grilled chicken, French fries and ice cream.
The night will culminate with the raffle, with tickets $10 each, six for $50 or 50 for $400. The grand prize is a buggy by Hillside. Other items available will be a 14-foot flatbed trailer, a 48-inch Toro lawn mower, a whiskey barrel table with four chairs, a Stihl chain saw, a Troxus e-bike, a Beachy hunting blind, a massage chair, a Burley Bike Cart Cub X, a two-night stay at Keystone Lake Cabin, a St. Croix fishing rod and reel, a Stihl handheld leaf blower, a four-piece Makita set, a 36-inch Blackstone grill, a second-cutting alfalfa (round bales), a Hyla sweeper, multiple Lake Erie fishing trips, a three-day stay at Pine Creek Retreat, a one-week stay at Atwood Lake with pontoon and more.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Mark and Leah Yoder, who are forced to build a new home due to mold, and Marcus and Rhoda Burkholder and their premature baby Serena Kate, who forced a long hospital stay.
