Leaf collection starting in Millersburg

Leaf collection will begin in Millersburg on Oct. 30.

Crews will only collect loose leaves on tree lawns/yard areas — lawn waste and tree limbs will not be accepted. Residents are encouraged to remove leaves and debris from catch basins and gutters to prevent damage caused by blocked storm water inlets.

Here’s the daily schedule:

—Monday:northwest quadrant bounded by North Clay Street, Wooster Road and West Jackson Street.

—Tuesday: northeast quadrant bounded by North Clay Street, Wooster Road and East Jackson Street.

—Wednesday: southeast quadrant bounded by East Jackson Street, South Clay Street and South Washington Street.

—Thursday: southwest quadrant bounded by West Jackson Street, South Clay Street and South Washington Street.

—Friday: bagged leaf collection and areas missed due to inclement weather.

Inclement weather may reduce or cancel specific pickup days; however, every attempt will be made to collect according to the above schedule. Anyone with questions should call the village offices at 330-674-1886.
