Incidents: The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious person on TR 362 in Salt Creek Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received two 911 hang up calls from a business on SR 557 in Berlin Township. The calls were found to be accidental. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a bad check that was received at a business on CR 70 in Clark Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of harassment at a residence on N Water St. in Killbuck. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a juvenile problem on U.S. 62 in Richland Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of Fraud at a business on Main St. in Winesburg. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a break and enter at a residence on TR 346 in Hardy Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a disturbance at a residence on SR 226 in Washington Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office assisted Loudonville PD in making contact with a subject on SR 3 in Washington Township. Accidents: The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one vehicle vs. barn non-injury accident on SR 557 in Berlin Township. The Holmes County Sherriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle vs. buggy non-injury accident on U.S. 62 in Paint Township, The Ohio State Highway Patrol handled this report. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a two vehicle non-injury accident on Vintage Ave. in Winesburg. The Ohio State Highway patrol handled this Report. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle vs. deer non-injury accident on SR 39 in Washington Township. Arrests; Adam Michael Thornton, age 28 of Ashland was arrested by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office for Theft. He remains incarcerated on a $1,500 cash or surety bond. Ann Marie Breneman, age 31 of Big Prairie was arrested by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office for Falsification. She was released on a $1000 cash or surety bond. Christopher Allen Houghton, age 33 of Perrysville was arrested by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Appear. He was released on a $1000 cash or surety bond. Lois Ruth Baird, age 45 of Holmesville was arrested by the Holmes County Sherriff’s Office for Violation of Bond. She remains incarcerated on a $20,000 cash or surety bond.
