HCHS’ Myths and Legends set for Oct. 5

The Holmes County Historical Society will host the second installment of Myths and Legends on Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Millersburg American Legion.
This program will have two parts with the first revisiting the Salem Cemetery Headless Angel. The presenter is Mary Tipton, society president and co-author of the “Holmes County Hair Raisers” book. She will explore the head found by some Holmes County residents to determine if it is the actual missing head. It is a mystery for the audience to be solved, and audience input would be welcomed. The historical society’s determination on the head also will be presented.
The second half of the program will be an introduction to Holmes County’s own professional Bigfoot hunter Gordon Mullet, for a look into his life and his hunt for Bigfoot of 2017. Examine for yourself what Mullet found, followed by a Q-and-A at the end of the program.
This is a free program for the public.
