Fall schedule of classes at Wayne Center for Arts

Wayne Center for the Arts has a full lineup of classes for all ages and skill levels beginning this fall.
WCA offers a range of artistic disciplines including clay, music, visual arts, dance and digital arts.
Returning favorites such as Potter’s Medley beckon adults to explore the art of clay through wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques while visual arts enthusiasts can delve into watercolor, oil painting and the new class on the imposto painting method.
Music lovers will find even more to celebrate this season with new additions like the Brass Caroling Choir, open to age 12 and up. This ensemble not only promises musical growth, but also community performances during the holiday season.
Young dancers are invited to be part of WCA’s production of “The Nutcracker” by participating in fall dance classes while children can broaden their musical horizons through classes like Drum Beats and group piano sessions, complete with a dedicated practice lab.
In addition to over 100 returning classes, WCA will introduce new opportunities this fall:
—Floral Imposto, Acrylic Painting Basics and Accidental Art for adults.
—Daytime Printmaking and Daytime Sewing Machine Basics for those looking to learn during daylight hours.
—Intro to Jazz Piano & Improv for adults.
