Engineer position filled by Bachman

The Tuscarawas County Central Committee met Thursday, Oct. 5 to fill the vacancy of county engineer. The committee selected Doug Bachman.
Bachman received his engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon University and completed his coursework for surveying licensure at the University of Akron. He has been serving as the Harrison County engineer and is familiar with various federal and state funding resources such as the Federal Highway Administration, Ohio Public Works Commission and the Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association. He and his wife Jane have two children — Bruce and Margaret.
