End of season for Greco Band

The Dominic Greco Band will wind down its 2023 summer concert series with a concert titled Pop Goes Dominic Greco 2. Continuing the tradition of old-fashioned concerts in the park, the band will perform at two different venues.

The first concert will take place Saturday, July 22 at 7 p.m. at the Sugarcreek Fire Station pavilion. The second concert will be Sunday, July 23 at 7 p.m. at the Tuscora Park Amphitheatre as part of the RTY Summer Showcase Series.

Pop Goes Dominic Greco 2 will feature “The Genius of Ray Charles,” “Best Broadway Marches,” “Looney Tunes Overture,” “Empire Strikes Back” and “Phantom of the Opera.”

The concerts will include vocal numbers featuring Ron Barkett singing “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat” and “Ghost Riders in the Sky.”

The membership of the Dominic Greco Band includes many different community members from teachers and band directors to lawyers, mechanics, college students, retired members and more.

The Dominic Greco Band is under the direction of Brian Botdorf, Cheryl Graham and April Linard.
