The Tuscarawas County Convention & Visitors Bureau recently received recognition for achievement in marketing and advertising at the Ohio Travel Association’s Ruby Awards presentation on Oct. 5 at Shisler Conference Center in Wooster.

The CVB received a Ruby Award with flawless distinction in the Promotional Video category for the #livetusc YouTube marketing campaign. Accepting the award was #livetusc campaign co-creators Diane Lautenschleger and Jason Ricker. The video was produced by Our City Productions creative team: Tyler King and Chad Shumaker.

The Ohio Travel Association’s Ruby Awards recognize excellence in Ohio’s hospitality and tourism industry for efforts in advertising, marketing and public relations. Nine marketing professionals representing academia, consulting firms and ad agencies judged each entry based on overall concept, results and creativity. Those with near-perfect scores received the additional flawless distinction.

The awarded video highlights the quality of life and experience Tuscarawas County provides to residents and visitors with a “Live, Learn, Work and Play” theme. The 90-day YouTube ad campaign resulted in over 423,000 views with 66% of all viewers watching the complete 30-second video. The 30-second video has been watched 3,523 hours during the 90-day campaign.

The #livetusc, the Tuscarawas County workforce advancement marketing campaign, can be found on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, www.livetusc.com and in-person meetups. It also partners with Our City Productions for the “About Thirty Minutes” podcast, which highlights the stories of local entrepreneurs and residents.
