Buckeye Book Crawl features week-long lineup
In the run-up to the Buckeye Book Fair, the Buckeye Book Crawl will be held starting Oct. 30 at various locations in Wooster.

The Buckeye Book Crawl in Wooster is an event that caters to every literary taste leading up to the Nov. 4 Buckeye Book Fair.

The lineup will include a sports panel, a rendezvous with romance novelists, a dive into the world of graphic comics and something for the history buffs.

As participants explore the streets of Wooster, they’ll discover signature drinks and unlock hidden gems using exclusive passwords. It’s an experience that merges literature and culture.

The lineup is as follows:

—Mindy McGinnis on Monday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. at Books in Stock Used and Rare Books, 140 E. Liberty St., with “A Long Stretch of Bad Days.”

Go to Books in Stock Used and Rare Books for a book-signing event with McGinnis, the mastermind behind the YA mystery that’s got readers buzzing. Dive into a small town’s dark past and secrets uncovered by two determined teens and a captivating podcast.

—Annie Hunter Eriksen on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. at Undergrounds Café & Coffee House at Liberty Street Commons, 146 E. Liberty St., with “Along Came a Radioactive Spider: Strange Steve Ditko and the Creation of Spider-Man.”

Come to Undergrounds Café & Coffee House for an evening with Eriksen as she unveils the untold story of Spider Man’s creation. Spider Man costumes are encouraged, and there will be surprises including a costume contest with prizes.
