Ashland Symphony Orchestra returning to Loudonville

The Ashland Symphony Orchestra is returning to Loudonville’s historic Ohio Theatre on Sunday, Oct. 29 at 2 p.m.
The concert is made possible through the efforts of the Loudonville Theatre and Arts Committee and through grants from the Hugo and Mabel Young Foundation and the Mohican Area Community Fund. Tickets for adults are $15, seniors are $12, and age 18 and under are free. All tickets are reserved seating and are available online at www.theohiotheatre.com, by calling the Ohio Theatre Box Office at 419-994-3750 or at the door on a first-come basis beginning an hour before the event.
More than 30 of the ASO’s 44-piece orchestra will perform under the direction of Michael Repper, music director and conductor. With work spanning four continents, Repper has an international reputation for engaging audiences of all spectrums and for promoting new and diverse musical talents. In 2023 he became the youngest American conductor to win a Grammy Award in Best Orchestral Performance.
This year’s concert titled “Shout for Joy!” includes music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and features soprano Symone Harcum.
