Arts in the Park at Pleasant Hill

Arts in the Park will take place at Pleasant Hill Lake Park on Saturday, June 17.
The Ohio Plein Air Society will paint outdoors during the event. Artists will be in and around park areas painting various trees, nature, water and boats at the marina from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
PHLP will then offer the artists an opportunity to sell their works during a wet paint sale at 3 p.m. at the welcome center.
There will be other various art-related activities going on throughout the day.
From 9-10 a.m. attendees can help feed live animals in the nature center. They also can visit the fish mural, history exhibit and bird observation window and view a short video orientation during their visit.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., attendees can explore their creative side with paint, water coloring and crafts. Each session is one hour and limited to 10 people. Those interested can sign up for a session on the morning of the event. Crafts will be at the welcome center.
At 11 a.m. naturalists from the Ohio Bird Sanctuary will have a live hawk presentation. See up close and learn about native Ohio hawks at the welcome center.
