The Wooster Stamp Club will hold its 60th annual WOOPEX Stamp Show at Ida Sue School on Oldman Road in Wooster on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WOOPEX, which stands for Wooster Philatelic Exhibition, has free admission with plenty of parking. The show will have displays of stamps and related items for attendees to choose their personal favorites. A seven-dealer bourse from Northeast Ohio will buy and sell worldwide and United States stamps, postcards, covers (envelopes of postal history) and supplies.

A post office substation will provide the latest new issues of the USPS for Christmas. A silent auction of dozens of items will be held at 3:30 p.m. The sign-up list will be at the registration table. There also will be an area where kids or beginners can obtain free materials.

The Wooster Stamp Club meets the third Thursday of each month at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 150 E. North St., Wooster, with parking on the north side of the building off of Buckeye Street. To reach the meeting room, enter the building, go up six steps (elevator available), turn left and go down the hall. The room is on the left. The group has programs and auctions at each meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. Visitors and new members are welcome.
