Three in custody on vandalism charges

COSHOCTON – Three people remain in custody at the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Justice Center, each charged with one count of vandalism, a Felony of the 5th Degree, in relation to the string of vehicle vandalism last weekend.

On Feb. 27, Jason W. Matis, 22-years-old and from the Coshocton area, John A. Newell Jr., 26-years-old and from the Coshocton area, and Destiny E. Newell, 25-years-old and from the Coshocton area, were all charged with vandalism, a Felony of the 5th Degree with additional charges likely after review by Coshocton County Prosecutor Jason Given.

This incident is currently being investigated by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
