Smashing good time

Smashing: Demolition derbies are in John Riehl’s blood. “I’ve been doing this for 15 years,” said the West Lafayette resident. “My Dad did it, my brother did and now me.” Riehl usually competes in about 16 demolition derbies a year and was glad to see the event come back to the Coshocton County Fair. “It’s a thrill to smash cars,” he said.
