Salvation Army hosting military appreciation day

The Coshocton Salvation Army Military Appreciation Day will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, in the gym.

All Coshocton County veterans and their spouses are invited to enjoy a free breakfast of SOS, scrambled eggs, orange juice and coffee.

Bill Griffis will share about his time in the service starting at 11 a.m. He was in the Marines during the Korean War and in the Air Force afterwards. The event also will include a military display, socializing area and tables set up by the Coshocton County Veterans Service Office and the Blue Star Mothers.

The Salvation Army is located at 334 Chestnut St. Use the gym door.
