Lady Rockets advance to OVAC championship game

The Conotton Valley Lady Rockets advanced to the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference (OVAC) 1A championship game with a win Monday night.

Conotton Valley shut out Paden City 10-0 April 25 in semi-final competition at I-470 Complex in Wheeling, WV. Sophomore pitcher Masy Baker threw a perfect five-inning game striking out 13 and throwing 51 pitches.

The Lady Rockets will face Beallsville April 29 at 5 p.m. at the I-470 Complex in Wheeling. Ticket information is available at ovac.org.
