Golf outing benefits Sheriff’s K9 program

The 10th annual K9 golf outing will take place July 9 at Carroll Meadows Golf Course in Carrollton.

The four-person scramble begins with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $70 per person and includes a steak dinner. Sign up at Carroll Meadows or call Shane Beohm at 330-324-5584.

Hole sponsors are $50. Call Melanie Beohm at 330-904-1904 to sponsor.

Proceeds benefit the Carroll County Sheriff Department’s K9 program with training, supplies, veterinarian bills, etc.

“The continued community support is why we have this program,” Shane Beohm, a veteran Carroll County deputy and school resource officer, said.
