With a new name, Canton Fiber Arts Guild welcomes new members
The Canton Spinners and Weavers Guild has changed its name to the Canton Fiber Arts Guild. The change was made to better reflect the interests of the current members. While there are still many spinners and weavers in the guild, there are some members who are knitters and others whose main focus is dyeing and felting fiber. The guild wants to put the focus on all things fiber and let people know that if someone is into fiber, there is a place in the guild for them. The Fiber Arts Guild meets monthly on the second Wednesday of each month from 6-8 p.m. at the Canton Art Museums library room from September through May. The guild maintains a Facebook page that can be found by searching the Fiber Arts Guild of Canton, Ohio.
