We the People – Standing Together to uphold the Constitution
The Wooster 912 Project, in keeping with the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party movement have scheduled a rally titled We the People: Standing Together to Uphold the Constitution on Saturday, July 10, on the square in downtown Wooster. The gathering is a way to show support for the ideas contained in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution as explained by the founding fathers.This rally, with the theme of Standing Together, seeks to inform the participants of the issues affecting todays taxpayer/citizen/voter. It will promote the active defense of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. The Wooster 912 Project and its followers say no to the representatives who want to impose more taxes, create more government waste, and throw the Constitution out the window.All Wayne County citizens are invited as well as adjoining counties to join, networking together in the musical interludes provided between speakers.The program will begin with a welcome from Wooster 912 Project member, Chuck Eicher. Members children will lead with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by the Star Spangled Banner sung by Katy Buzard.Speakers scheduled are: Master of ceremonies is Chris Long, from the Ohio Christian Alliance; Scott Wiggam, Wayne County Commissioner, Rally For America; Dougie from Doylestown, Who are the Real Friends of the Pro-Gun Movement; Coach Dave Daubenmire, Somebody, Make A Play; Daniel Shy, President Obama and the Ninth Commandment; Benjamin Franklin, A Republic, If You Can Keep It; and Crissey Kobak with quotable quotes.
