Uhrichsville seeks new auditor

The members of the Uhrichsville Democratic Central Committee will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 5 to select an auditor for the City of Uhrichsville.

The vacancy has been created due to the retirement of current Auditor Joanne Dunlap.

The meeting will be held at 6 pm at the Uhrichsville City Council chambers and is open to the public. Each candidate will be given two minutes to speak, followed by questions from the central committee members.

The law requires that the person serving as auditor will be bonded. Applicants must be eligible for bonding.

The person selected will fill the remainder of the term, which ends Dec. 31, 2015.
