The Holmes County Republican Party has endorsed Rob Portman for U.S. Senate

“I’m pleased to have received the endorsement of the Holmes County Republican Party,” Rob Portman said. “While Holmes County is weathering the economic storm better than most of Ohio’s counties, too many of our working families aren’t able to make ends meet and too many small business owners are struggling to meet payroll. We can no longer afford the status quo that threatens to bankrupt us. We need to focus all of our energy on fostering an environment where jobs can be created and working families can feel confident that their hard-earned dollars won’t be used for more out-of-control spending and job-killing policies.”“The endorsement of Rob Portman is a statement that we know Rob to be a man of integrity and accomplishment, and one who can be trusted to put the interests of Ohioans first in his work on our behalf in Washington,” said Robin Hovis, Holmes County GOP chairman. Hovis continued, “Rob has the background, experience and knowledge to be able to cut through the red tape and get things done for us. He will be effective on Day One, helping create the jobs we need to put us on the path to economic recovery. Holmes County can be counted on to help Rob win in November.”
