Still time to purchase a capsule from Quakers

The New Philadelphia Marching Quaker Band has extended the deadline for purchasing time capsules to be buried at the Tuscarawas County Courthouse.
The deadline to purchase a capsule is Nov. 4. The vault containing all of the time capsules will be buried at the courthouse on Wednesday, Nov. 11, following the Veterans Day Ceremony. The band will be in attendance at the ceremony.
Time capsules are $25 for an 18-by-4 inch capsule or $50 for an 18-by-6 inch capsule. Purchases can be made by calling the New Philadelphia Instrumental Department at 330-364-0651. The time capsule vault will be unearthed in the year 2034.
