Seventh annual Older Adult Extravaganza

The Area Agency on Aging Region 9 will be hosting the seventh annual Older Adult Extravaganza!! on May 15 at Pritchard-Laughlin Civic Center, Cambridge, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event is for adults 60 plus and their caregivers. Admission is free. The theme for this year’s event is Disco Fever. The first 300 attendees will receive a disco ball necklace.To kick off this event, there will be a Caregiver Awareness event sponsored by The Area Agency on Aging and Interim Health Care from 9-10 a.m. No registration necessary; just come have fun before the Extravaganza and support our caregivers.The Animal Shelter will have cuddly animals for adoption from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the Columbus Zoo will have an exhibit of exotic animals available from 1-2 p.m.Northside Pharmacy will offer a cholesterol screening and a Bone Density screening (a non-invasive ultrasound of the heel).
