Rummage and bake sale to be held at Martins Creek Mennonite

On August 3 and 4, the Flower of Hope Outreach will host a rummage and bake sale at the Martins Creek Mennonite Fellowship Hall. The sale will be held from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. The church is located at 6111 County Road 203 in Millersburg.Jewelry from the Apparent Project will also be available for purchase. The Apparent Project uses discarded cereal and cracker boxes to create unique jewelry, which then gives Haitian artisans the means to provide for their children with dignity. All of the proceeds from this rummage and bake sale will benefit the Flower of Hope School located in the Klory region of Haiti.Last year’s sale raised approximately $1,000, and was used to help fund a well-digging project at the school. For information regarding the sale, contact the Martins Creek Mennonite Church office at 330-674-1242.
