Rippeth graduates from basic military training
Air Force Airman 1st Class Scott M. Rippeth graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Rippeth earned distinction as an honor graduate.
He is the son of Stephen Rippeth of Hicks Ave. NE, New Philadelphia.
The airman graduated in 2002 from New Philadelphia High School, and received a bachelor’s degree in 2009 from Kent State University.
