Richard Lewis Harig
Richard Lewis Harig, Jr., age 53 of New Philadelphia, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018, in Oak Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Baltic.
A son of the late Richard Lewis Harig, Sr. and the late Sharon Lee (Page) Harig, Richard was born Jan. 19, 1965, in Dover.
Richard graduated from New Philadelphia High School and was formerly employed at Starlight in Massillon as a press operator. He loved fishing and spending time on his boat.
Richard is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Jody and Jeff Pringle of New Philadelphia; two nieces, Jesalyn (Beau) Stull and Jilyane Weigand, both of New Philadelphia; and his great-nieces and great-nephew, Chasity Hawk and Emalyn, Connor and Kirstin Weigand.
In keeping with Richard’s wishes, there will be no calling hours, and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Roxford Church Cemetery.
