Ohio State Alumni Club of Tuscarawas will hold annual Scholarship Fundraiser

The Ohio State Alumni Club of Tuscarawas will have their annual Scholarship Fundraiser and Game Day event on Saturday, Nov. 12 at the Factory Street Pub & Grill in Dover.The event will start a half hour prior to the kickoff of the Ohio State and Maryland game. (Game time has not yet been set.)Tickets for the event are $25 for adults and $15 for students 18 and under. This donation goes directly to the Ohio State University Foundation to be used for scholarships made available to students in Tuscarawas County who will attend Ohio State.The cost for the event will include “tailgate” food.There will be a silent auction featuring items autographed by Archie Griffin, Jim Tressel and former players Joshua Perry, Jack Mewhort, Evan Spencer and Jake Stoneburner. A “duck pond” raffle will be held featuring Ohio State items such as ornaments, artwork, towels, scarves and purses.There also is a raffle for a 2014 National Championship helmet autographed by coach Urban Meyer.Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are preferred and can be made by calling Martha Campbell at 330-340-0390 or emailing her at TuscarawasCoClub@osu.edu.
