OBITUARY
Emanuel HershbergerEmanuel D. Biff Hershberger, 77, of Dover, died Jan. 9, 2010, at Hennis Care Centre.Born Oct. 18, 1932, in Holmes County, Biff was a son of the late Daniel and Katie Ann Hershberger. He retired in 1994 from Union Hospital as the director of environmental services after 42 years of service, and had worked part time at WJER. He was a member of Dover Baptist Temple and enjoyed fishing at Atwood Lake in his spare time.Surviving are his wife, Fannie Hershberger, whom he married in 1960; sons, Douglas (Rita) Hershberger of New Philadelphia and Daryl (Sherri) Hershberger of Sugarcreek; daughters, Debbie (Mike) Cinereski of Alabama and Glenda (Craig) Bambeck of Dover; brothers, Simon Hershberger of Pennsylvania, Henry (Ruth) Hershberger of Walnut Creek, and Daniel Hershberger of Sugarcreek; and 12 grandchildren, Jared (Tracy), Rebekah, and Andrew Cinereski, Elizabeth (Joel) Bishop, Syrena, Roman, Chandler, and Emanuel Hershberger, Megan and Justin Hersberger, and Corey and Dylan Bambeck.He was preceded in death by a sister, Emma Kramer; and brothers, Roy and Jonas Hershberger.Services were held Jan. 13, 2010, at Dover Baptist Temple, with Pastor Christopher Rhodes officiating.Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, handled arrangements.
