Mary Ann Yoder, 76, of Dalton, died April 28, 2012, at her home, following a period of declining health.Mary was born Jan. 12, 1936, in Millersburg, to the late Dan S. and Lucy E. Mast, and married Henry D. Yoder on Jan. 12, 1956. He died in 1985. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.Mary is survived by a son, Danny (Gladys) Yoder of the home; grandchildren, Joseph (Mary) Yoder, Ruth Ann Esh, Karen (Jonas) Yoder, Mary Elizabeth Yoder, Marlin (Neva) Yoder, Celesta Yoder, and James Yoder; 13 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Clara (Melvin) Miller of Sugarcreek, Alma (Frank) Holter of Johnstown, and Susie (John) Eicher of Dundee.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Verna Mast; a great-granddaughter; grandson-in-law, Mervin Esh; seven sisters; and a brother.Services will be held May 1, at 9 a.m., at the Levi Jay Beachy residence, with Bishop Ivan Wengerd officiating. Burial will be in Hershberger Cemetery, Paint Township, Wayne County. Friends may call anytime at the family home.Spidell Funeral Home, Mt. Eaton, is handling arrangements.
