Madeline A. Wallick, 85, of Middletown, formerly of Dover, died Jan. 24, 2012, at Garden Manor.Madeline was born June 21, 1926, in Rockford, Ill. On July 30, 1945, she was united in marriage to Richard W. Wallick, who preceded her in death in 2003.Madeline worked for the former Bank One, Dover, and was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church, New Philadelphia. She was the longtime devoted volunteer coordinator of Hospice of Tuscarawas County.Madeline will be sadly missed by her sons, Rick Wallick of Dayton, Scott (Lorna) Wallick of West Chester, Mike (Diane) Wallick of Hamilton, and Tim (Brenda) Wallick of Pataskala; grandchildren, Rich Wallick, Bryan Wallick, Rebecca Blanchard, Michael Wallick, Blake Wallick, Benjamin Wallick, and Kevin Wallick; and great-grandchildren, Clay and Peter Blanchard and Austin and Rebecca Wallick.She was also preceded in death by a brother, Laverne; and sister, Doris.Services were held Jan. 28, at Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, with Chad Durfe officiating.
