Kody M. Ross, 20, of Strasburg, died suddenly Oct. 13, 2011, in Indianapolis, Ind., while visiting friends. His death is believed to be related to diabetes, which Kody battled most of his young life.Born August 23, 1991, in Sandusky, Kody was a son of Richard D. and Carla D. Ross of Strasburg. He attended Strasburg Schools and graduated from the Buckeye Career Center, New Philadelphia, earlier this year. He was employed by Manor Restaurant, Strasburg.Kody loved horses and riding and was active with the 4-H Valley Equestrians for more than 10 years. He also liked tinkering with his Farmall Super C tractor and belonged to the Tuscarawas County Pioneer Power Association. He was a good son, brother, and friend, and will be sadly missed.Kody is survived by his brother, Kyle Ross; maternal grandparents, Tom and Patty Romell of Monroeville; paternal grandparents, Dale and Phyllis Ross of Strasburg; many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends; and his horses, Shazari, Cas, and Jade.Family suggests contributions in Kodys memory be made to the Ohio 4-H Foundation, Tuscarawas County, 2201 Fred Taylor Dr., Columbus 43210; or the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
