Dorothy W. Kaser, 93, of Baltic, died June 21, 2010, at Oak Pointe Nursing Home, Baltic.Dorothy was born May 22, 1917, in Bakersville, to the late George G. and Minnie M. Hothem. She graduated in 1935 from Baltic High School and was a loving homemaker who worked with her husband on the family dairy farm. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, crocheting, and going to auctions. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Baltic, the Ladies Guild, and Church Women United.Surviving are sons, Donald (Jean) Kaser of Ragersville and Larry (Marjorie) Kaser of Strasburg; eight grandchildren, Debbie (Seth) Angel of New Philadelphia, Steve (Amy) Kaser of Ragersville, Michael Kaser of Stone Creek, Mary Jo Monte of New Philadelphia, Kathy Kaser of Ragersville, Scott (Mary) Kaser of Cincinnati, Kim (Brian) Akers of Powell, and Lori (Tom) Mines of New Albany; eight great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Andrea, Andrew, Katy, Zach, Kevin, Autumn, and Livia; a stepgreat-grandchild, Laine Mines; twin sisters, Virginia Richardson of New Philadelphia and Lois (Paul) Gilhousen of Bakersville; and sister-in-law, Elsie Hothem of Bakersville.She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Kaser, whom she married in 1936; and brother, Milton Hothem.Services will be held June 25, 2010, at 11 a.m., at Zion United Church of Christ, Baltic, with Rev. Sharon Jacobsen officiating.
