Mary E. Badertscher, 90, of Orrville, died June 10, 2010, at Orrville Pointe, following a period of declining health.Mary was born Jan. 31, 1920, in Pandora, to the late Coral and Viola Donaldson. She had been a resident of Orrville since 1940, and was previously employed at Garrod Furniture, The Courier Crescent, and the Orrville Printing Company.Mary was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church, Orrville. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and playing the organ and string instruments.Surviving are children, Beth Huntsberger, Lynda (Fred) Zody, and Cindy (Mitch) Budd, all of Orrville, and Ron (Jan) Badertscher of Smithville; grandchildren, David Huntsberger, Jeff (Lisa) Huntsberger, Tim Huntsberger, Laura (David) White, Vance (JoAnn) Dreher, Todd (Chris) Dreher, Amy (Pat) Christie, Eric (Maribeth) Badertscher, Carrie (Todd) Bowers, Brian (Kimberly) Budd, Mark Budd, and Scott Budd; six stepgrandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, LaVerne D. Badertscher, whom she married in 1939; son-in-law, Dave Huntsberger Sr.; and sisters, Janet Green and Marge Cook Lytle.Services were held June 14, 2010, at Augusburg Lutheran Church, Orrville, with Rev. Norman Dew officiating.
