Dolly Lou Bradford, 59, of West Lafayette, died April 21, 2010, at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus.Dolly was born Sept. 20, 1950, in Clay County, West Virginia, to the late Herbert E. and Gay Lane Young. She was a 1968 graduate of Indian Valley South High School and was employed in the dietary department of Lafayette Pointe Nursing Home, West Lafayette, for over 10 years. She was selected as employee of the month at Lafayette Pointe on a few occasions. Prior to that, she was employed at the former Pretty Products Company, Coshocton, the former N.C.R. Company, Cambridge, and Kurz-Kasch Company, Newcomerstown. She belonged to Valley View Baptist Church, Newcomerstown, and enjoyed reading, relaxing with a Diet Coke, cooking, playing with her sheltie, Casey, and spending as much time as she could with her daughter, Jennifer.Surviving are her husband, Danny L. Bradford, whom she married in 1979; daughter, Jennifer L. Bradford (fiance, Cory D. Krumlauf) of Zanesville; sisters, Carolyn S. (Euell) McGlothlin of Uhrichsville, Viola J. (Randy) Bradford of Newcomerstown, Darlene F. Goff of Uhrichsville, and Deloris J. Berger of Tippecanoe; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Denise E. Bradford; brother, Charlie Young; and brother-in-law, Earl Berger.Private funeral and graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in West Lawn Cemetery, Newcomerstown, at a later date, with Rev. Sonny Ramsay officiating.Family requests memorials be made in her name to Valley View Baptist Church, 320 Pilling St., Newcomerstown 43832.
