Judy H. Schenck-DeGroot, 75, of Orrville, formerly of Wadsworth and Pennsylvania, died April 16, 2010, at her residence, following a period of declining health.Judy was born May 15, 1934, in Uniontown, Pa., to the late Henry Michael and Anna Mae Prendergast. She was a homemaker and a former member of the Wadsworth Eagles, Moose Club, and CB Club. She enjoyed baking, cooking, collecting cows and bottles, crocheting, and was a big fan of Gone With The Wind. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.Surviving are sons, Dallas Michael Schenck and Mark Douglas Schenck, both of Pennsylvania; daughters, Judy Mae (Bob) Cline of Rittman, Gail Lynn Berman of Wadsworth, Vickie Lee (Doug) Kithcart of Nova, Deanna Kay (Jim Heasley) Schenck of Pennsylvania, and Sophia Ann (Fred) Oakley of Florida; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Marilyn) Luberda of Monroeville and William Hart of Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Victor Schenck, whom she married in 1950; two granddaughters; brothers, Playford and Richard Hart; and sisters, Betty Jordan, Leatrice Layhue, Alean Thorpe, Leatha Mae Hershman, and Marjie Leslie.Services were held April 20, 2010, at Auble Funeral Home, Orrville.
